The Macphunn 18 Year Single Malt Scotch

$129.00

Charlie Maclean selected an 18-year-old, cask strength (56.9%) Speyside malt, likely from Glenfarclas, for a revival of this unique brand, producing only 300 bottles. The brand's origin story traces back to the 17th century, when Clan MacPhunn's chieftain was hanged for sheep stealing. His wife, upon seeing his body twitch as they rowed home, revived him with a mix of illicit whisky and breast milk, to which he reportedly whispered “Uisge beatha,” meaning "water of life."
