Old Weller Original 107 'Gold Vein' (1979 Release)

Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle I, after navigating Stitzel Weller Distillery through the challenges of National Prohibition, founded Old Weller and acquired Old Fitzgerald labels, establishing them as flagship brands for the newly revived Stitzel-Weller distillery in 1933. Produced there for over six decades, Old Weller was later acquired by the Sazerac Company in 1999. They continue to distill it at Buffalo Trace today, following Pappy's original recipe.
