As one of the most exclusive whiskeys ever produced in Ireland, Midleton Very Rare is extremely special. This 2022 offering comes from only a handful of casks that are deemed high enough quality to be selected for this blend, and these are personally hand-picked by Midetlon's master distiller. The culmination is a blend of 12 - 33 year old whiskies finished in a combination of lightly charred first-fill and re-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrels. With very limited quantities available, the 2022 Midleton Very Rare is bottled at 40% ABV and features a nose of melted milk chocolate, honey, and vanilla-dipped apples. On the palate are notes of cream, vanilla, and baked sugar drizzled over spiced banana pudding.
