Michter's Pot Still Original Sour Mash Whiskey (1983 vintage)

$1,499.00
An rare find, this whiskey originates from the historic Michter's distillery in Schaeferstown, PA. Though often overlooked during its operation, the distillery gained a following after closing in 1989, notably when Julian Van Winkle III bottled the Hirsch Reserve for Gordon Hue using barrels acquired from it.

Following the closure, the Michter's brand name was acquired by Chatham Imports. They subsequently established a new Michter's Fort Nelson distillery in Kentucky and have continued bottling under the name for years. This whiskey, distilled at the original site and exclusively from the distillery's smallest still, holds significant value for collectors.
