Meiyo Single Grain 17 Year Old Whiskey is matured in ex-bourbon barrels, and was distilled in 2001 at Japan’s Kumesen Distillery in Okinawa. “Meiyo” means honor, one of the seven virtues of bushido, the moral code practiced by the samurai. Expect to be met with notes of cinnamon, vanilla, molasses, and charred oak on the nose and a  thick palate that is full of sweet and nutty flavors. It is a refreshing choice for adventurous spirits lovers.
