Jack Daniel's 'Rested Rye Batch 002' Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey

The Rested Rye release continues Jack Daniel's exploration of flavors from its initial Unaged Rye. This whiskey retains the spice character of the Unaged Rye while incorporating toasted oak and vanilla notes from barrel aging. Although not fully mature, the Rested Rye hints at the potential of Tennessee Rye. Made from a mash bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley, it was aged for two years in new barrels with varying toasting levels, marking the first new mash bill in over a century at the distillery.
