Elijah Craig Barrel proof batch B519 is the mild sibling to previous iterations of this bourbon. Despite the proof being 122.2, the aroma is sweet with vanilla, caramel, oak and slight hints of apple, apricot and orange zest. At first taste batch B519 has a heavy citrus note that leads to spiced caramelized dark fruits. Long and dry on the finish, but with slight bitterness and a spiced sweetness.
