This 2014 Batch 3 of Colonel E.H. Taylor's Barrel Proof line comes in at a respectable 129 proof. The aroma is sweet with dark fruits, cinnamon raisin bread, vanilla creme brûlée, roasted oak and light coffee. Batch 3 slides in with strong rye flavors followed by accents of roasted coffee, rich toffee and smokey oak. The finish is slightly astringent and woodsy.
