William Larue Weller Bourbon (2020 Release)

The 2020 release, dubbed the 'lockdown year', was distilled in the winter of 2008 and matured for 12 years and six months in new #4 char white American oak barrels in Warehouses I & C. With 73% of the original spirit lost to the angels, this opulent and complex Bourbon was bottled at 134.5 Proof. On the nose, expect cherries, caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, while the palate reveals soft caramel, cinnamon, and spearmint. The finish is long and intense with notes of oak and coffee. The 2020 William Larue Weller received an Extraordinary/Ultimate Recommendation at the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
