2014 Blackbird Vineyards Auction Cuvee

This special cuvée was created for the Napa Valley Wine Auction, founded in 1981 by iconic local winemakers to support non-profits. Blackbird Vineyards, established in 2003 by Michael Polenske, produces Pomerol-inspired wines from its estate in Napa’s Oak Knoll District, planted in 1997. Known for its moderate climate and gravelly soils, the estate yields balanced, elegant red wines with both short- and long-term aging potential, crafted by winemaker Aaron Pott. Limited quantities are available via an allocated mailing list and select fine dining establishments.
