The Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir Finish was released in November 2014 as a NAS straight bourbon, finished to 90-proof and available in limited quantities. Made from a mash bill consisting of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, this exquisite ruby red whiskey has been aged for a minimum of 7 years before spending at least 10 months in carefully selected ex-Pinot Noir French oak wine barrels. With just 36,334 bottles produced worldwide, this bourbon offers a nose filled with cherries, floral notes, and aged herbs, while the palate reveals layers of red fruits, currants, strawberries, and hints of oak and cedar spice.
