Distilled in Winter 2003 and released in Fall 2016, this 2016 edition of William Larue Weller Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery’s esteemed Antique Collection of superior whiskey coats the senses in aromatic notes of rose blossoms, fruit cake spice, and dark caramel paired with a taste of butterscotch ripple cream, dried figs, and cloves. Aged 12 years and 7 months in 145 select new white oak #4 char barrels and double distilled with a finished barrel strength of 135.4 proof, this bold bourbon is composed of distiller’s grade #1/#2 Kentucky corn, N.
