WhistlePig 15 year Estate Oak Rye Whiskey

Released in 2016, this is the 15 year old straight rye whiskey from WhistlePig in Vermont. This limited 15 year old expression has enjoyed a finishing period in Vermont oak barrels which have been given a long toast and heavy char. This decadent 15 Year Rye has notes of toffee and butterscotch, and a soft dark chocolate flavor. The finish is soft with spices that taste more intense as you sip, but with touch of intense oak warmth as well.
