Distilled in 1997, this rare expression was matured entirely in a single fresh rum barrel, where it lay for a full 25 years in the warehouses of Campbeltown. During this remarkably long maturation period, the whisky has dropped to a natural strength of 49.1% ABV. Packaging only 105 bottles from Cask 242, all presented with natural color and without chill-filtration.
