The Murray McDavid 17 Year Scotch Whisky is a limited edition, with only 264 bottles released. Laphroaig Distillery famously produces one of the peatiest whiskies in the world. This whisky in particular was unusually filled directly into a Sherry hogshead. Murray McDavid 17 Year is smoky, heavy malt that has been tamed with rich, luscious fruit. It is notoriously difficult to balance peat with a heavy Sherry maturation, making this iteration that much more unique.
