When you open the 2009 release of Henry McKenna 10 Year your nose will pleasantly be greeted with a sweet aroma of corn and honey followed by notes of roasted oak, fudge, and molasses. This offering is light and dry on the tongue with a slight alcohol burn, accented with roasted dark coffee, oak, resin, bittersweet chocolate covered roasted nuts. Fairly short and dry on the finish with some lingering roasted notes.
