In 2015, the Islay Scotch masters at Laphroaig Distillery, released a small number of bottles of their 16 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It was released to honor and celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary. A combination of aromas comes from oaky richness, vanilla and a slight amount of leather. The palate gets hit with rich caramel, toffee and sweet Manuka honey. A delicious flavor combination of baking spices, hints of smoked thyme, rich bergamot spice and a spicy chili hue. Laphroaig 16 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky finishes long, and will keep you coming back to taste again and again.
