Jefferson’s Grand Selection series is distinctively aged whiskey allowed to finish in individually selected wine casks for the ultimate in luxuriously sweet quaffability. Jefferson’s Grand Selection Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes Cask Finish Bourbon is crafted from 20+ year old matured Jefferson’s Reserve whiskey finished in 40 Suduiraut Bordeaux wine barrels with toasted staves made of French oak casks. These are then stored in a proprietary ‘hot box’ environment to blend in the succulent tones of the wine with the masterfully crafted whiskey. Composed of an undisclosed mash bill and finished to a barrel strength of 90 proof. Jefferson’s GS Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes Cask Finish Bourbon is a limited edition offering released in select quantities and is a prime example of Jefferson’s unique and highly innovative finishing techniques!
