Distilled in 1972 and bottled in 2011, this incredibly rare single malt Scotch whisky is a part of Glenfarclas's Family Cask collection. In 2007, Glenfarclas Distillery launched its Family Cask Collection. This unique offering comes from only the best single casks of whisky. The collection initially comprised 43 single cask bottlings, with one cask for every year between 1952 and 1994. This particular offering from barrel No. 3551 is rich and warm with aromas and flavors of spiced stone fruits, honey, leather and toffee. This finish stays for a long, long while but is smooth and delicious!
