The 2020 GTS continues the Buffalo Trace Distillery Antique Collection's (BTAC) reputation for exceptional flavor and quality. Released in September 2020, the 2020 George T. Stagg is aged for 15+ years in new white oak #4 char barrels, with an undisclosed mash bill (believed to be low-rye) and a finished cask strength of 130.4 proof. Bottled unfiltered and uncut, this whiskey was double distilled in the Spring of 2005 and has a nose rife with aromatic hues of baked cinnamon toast, caramel, and plump cherries. On the tongue are flavors of soft cream, vanilla bean, and brown sugar.
