Distilled in the Spring of ’04 and released in Fall 2019, this Buffalo Trace Distillery Antique Collection 2019 edition of George T. Stagg straight bourbon is a powerful and potent uncut, unfiltered Kentucky straight whiskey. Blended from a mash bill of undisclosed amounts of distiller’s grade #1 & #2 Kentucky corn, rye, and N. Dakota malted barley, 2019 George T. Stagg whiskey is double distilled in BTD beer stills to a mature barrel strength of 116.9 proof. Aged for 15 years and 3 months in new white oak #4 char barrels, this highly sought-after quaff offers a nose layered in caramelized cherries and mint leaves seasoned with smoke. The palate is sweet with boughs of vanilla and cherries over warm oak and soft floral undertones.
