Smith Bowman’s annual cask strength offering is a marriage of barrels aged a minimum of 10 years, hand-selected by Master Distiller Brian Prewitt and Distiller David Bock and bottled uncut and non-chill filtered at 144.5 proof. Beautiful aromas of cherry, toasted bread, a slight hint of leather and caramel. The palate dances with notes of apple, cherry, vanilla and roasted nuts. Balanced by lightly sweet floral notes and strong wood char flavors. The finish is peppery and crisp.
