This is the 1992 release of Benrinnes 21 Year Speyside Whiskey. The nose has a sweet and fruity aroma with berries, toasted caramel and musky melon. This carries over into the flavor profile which features notes of melon, raisins, rich molasses and a hint of a musty funk that accents the malt. The finish begins with a well-rounded sweetness that transitions to a long lasting white peppery note and ends with a smooth dryness.
