Drawn from bourbon casks, the toasted ends flavor adds a fresh dimension to Ardbeg’s classic taste and allows the whiskey to be much lighter on the peat and smoke than normal. With a flavor that has an almost creamy like texture and notes of mocha, chocolate, vanilla and tropical fruits, this malt is definitely different from Ardbeg’s other releases and proves to be both unexpected and intriguing.
