A Midwinter Nights Dram Act 3 Scene 1 is a blend of straight ryes that is matured in port barrels for some time. It is an annual Limited Edition release from High West, and is usually quite sought after. The rye kicks in immediately. Deep, dark fruits take the lead, followed by spice, cinnamon and sweet caramel. If you could bottle the smells of the holidays this would be it! With lots of spice and rye flavor that slowly gives way to the sweetness and fruitiness of the port and oak. A finish that warms and lingers, but is enjoyably sweet, mild and well blended.
