Aged a minimum of 11 years in new white oak #4 char barrels, this expertly crafted whiskey was originally distilled in Fall 1998 and released in Fall 2009. Composed of Kentucky corn, N. Dakota wheat, and N. Dakota malted barley, 2009 William Larue Weller bourbon is double distilled in BTD beer stills with a limited production of 41 barrels worldwide. The nose carries scents of caramel, fresh leather, and smoke-hazed plums complemented by a sweet taste of marshmallows, roasted almonds, and juicy figs.
