Yamato Cask Strength Special Edition is a distinctive Japanese blended whisky matured in rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks and bottled without chill filtration at cask strength. The blend combines malted Scotch with grain distillates produced from select Yamanashi-grown grains, with the spirits double-distilled in pot stills before maturation. Comprising whiskies aged from three to eight years, the expression highlights Mizunara oak’s characteristic sandalwood, spice, and delicate sweetness.
