WhistlePig The Boss Hog 2nd Edition 'The Spirit of Mortimer' Rye Whiskey (121.6 Proof)

“The Spirit of Mortimer” is a limited release composed of 50 hand-selected barrels chosen from among WhistlePig’s oldest rye stocks. Aged for nearly 14 years, the whiskey underwent a distinctive multi-barrel aging process before being bottled at full barrel strength. This release represents a high-proof, uncut expression of WhistlePig rye. It is dedicated to Mortimer WhistlePig, the brand’s deceased Kune Kune pig mascot and namesake. Mortimer is commemorated both physically through a hand-chiseled flying pig sculpture created by Danforth Pewter Works in Vermont and symbolically through the whiskey contained in this release.
