Thomas H. Handy Rye Whiskey (2025 Release)

The 2025 Thomas H. Handy Sazerac is an uncut and unfiltered straight rye whiskey bottled at 129.8 proof. Distilled in 2018 and 2019 and aged 6 years and 3 months, it was made from plump rye, Kentucky corn, and malted barley, then matured in new #4 char white oak barrels from Cumberland Cooperage. It aged across floors 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Warehouses N, L, AA, and DD, with a 31% evaporation loss. The whiskey shows lively oak and spice with bright fruit and a touch of apple on the nose, a bold mix of spice and oak on the palate with subtle fruit tones, and a warm finish of lingering oak, vanilla, and spice.
