The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) bottling 12.40, titled “Jazz Pizazz,” is a single cask, cask-strength single malt from BenRiach Distillery in Speyside. Distilled in October 2010 and bottled after nine years of maturation, this whisky was released exclusively for SMWS members. It was drawn from a second-fill ex-bourbon barrel and bottled at 59.4% ABV, with a total outturn of just 90 bottles.

As with all SMWS releases, this whisky was bottled without chill filtration or added coloring to preserve its natural character.
