Mortlach Rare Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was the first release in the distillery’s modern single malt range. Designed by Laurent Hainaut, the expression has a golden-amber color and aromas of toffee, fudge, wood spices, and dried fruit.

Mortlach Distillery is located in Dufftown, Speyside, a town known for its concentration of whisky distilleries. Founded in 1823, Mortlach has a long history of production that includes periods when the site operated as a brewery and church before whisky production resumed in 1851. The distillery was substantially rebuilt in 1964 and is known for its distinctive configuration of six differently sized stills, consisting of three wash stills and three spirit stills.
