Tequila Ocho 2022 'El Nacimiento' Single Estate Añejo is produced from agave grown at the El Nacimiento ranch in Arandas, at an elevation of 2,150 meters. The agave was planted in 2011 and harvested in 2022 after 11 years of maturation. It was aged in oak for one year and one day, meeting the minimum aging period for añejo classification while retaining the highland character of the agave. The tequila was produced by Master Distiller Carlos Camarena at La Alteña Distillery (NOM 1474).
