Springbank 10 Year Old Single Cask Scotch Whisky (Park Avenue Liquors Store Pick)

From the Wood Expressions range, this single cask was bottled exclusively for the Park Avenue Liquor Shop in New York. Distilled in 1997, it was aged for 10 years in a re-charred sherry butt. Aromas of tobacco, a bit of brine and sulphur, raspberry sorbet and white chocolate awaken the senses. The flavor is sherry forward with chocolate covered bananas and cherry hard candies with some funky malt.The finish lingers with a flavor reminiscent of cherry cough drops.
