The 2016 release was the first new distillate used for Sazerac 18 Year Old, replacing the 'tanked' whiskey that was distilled in 1984. For 2016, 24 barrels were selected from the 2nd floor of Wearhouse K, 72.1% was loss to evaporation and it is estimated there were only 2,587 bottles released.
