From Diageo’s smallest distillery, this light, fresh whisky has a hint of honey. Slow fermented and distilled to maximize copper contact, it’s fruity, grassy, and well-suited to sherry casks. On the nose, it offers cheesecake, granita biscuits, straw bale, and poached pears. The light to medium-bodied palate reveals candied fruit, honey, and a mildly grassy finish, with a gently spicy, crisp, and appley conclusion. For a soft, slightly sweet dram, think Highland Park minus the peat.
