Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Single Malt Scotch (1990's Bottling)

$349.00

Royal Lochnagar, favored by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert due to its proximity to Balmoral Castle, was once a key ingredient in VAT 69 but now focuses on single malts. This collectible 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from the 1990s highlights its royal connection, named after receiving a Royal Warrant in 1848. Acquired by John Dewar & Sons in 1916 and now part of Diageo, it remains their smallest distillery, making its single malt highly sought after. The 12-year-old bottling replaced Haig's Glenleven in the Ascot Malt Cellar range and was re-launched alongside the Selected Reserve, becoming one of the most expensive permanent products in Diageo's portfolio.
