This rare 1989 Pittyvaich, finished in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, offers an exotic vanilla sweetness that enhances the light, creamy, fruity character of this once-hidden Speyside gem. A ‘ghost’ distillery, Pittyvaich closed in 1993, and its remaining stocks are as elusive as the capercaillie bird.
