Old Taylor 'Distillery Replica: Castle Decanter' 4 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon (1960's Release)

A vintage Old Taylor Castle Decanter containing Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled and bottled by The Old Taylor Distillery Company founded by Colonel E.H. Taylor in Frankfort, Kentucky, and distributed by National Distillers. The label indicates 86 proof, one quart, aged four years.

These ceramic castle decanters were produced mainly in the 1960s–1970s to replicate the iconic Old Taylor distillery castle and were sold filled with bourbon for the U.S. market. Full examples with intact tax strip and original contents are increasingly scarce, as most were opened or emptied over time.
