A vintage bottling of this Scotch blend produced by Bulloch Lade & Co., a firm whose origins trace back to 1817 with John Bulloch and the Dunochter distillery. The company later merged with D. Lade & Co. in the mid-19th century to form Bulloch Lade & Co., acquiring Caol Ila and holding interests in Lossit, Benmore, and Tamdhu.

Bulloch Lade did not survive World War I and declared bankruptcy in 1920. Its assets were later absorbed by Distillers Company Limited (DCL), with the name continuing under corporate ownership until it was ultimately dissolved in 2007.
