With varying matured barrel strengths of 130 to 135% proof, this NAS selection is composed of a mash bill containing 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley and will be an ongoing release from the Brown-Forman Shively Distillery. Softly hued aromatics of cherries, medicinal syrup, crisp granny smith apples, and torched sugar greet the nose. On the palate are notes of boldly toasted pecans layered in thick planks of oak, black cherries, and strips of vintage leather.
