Maker's Mark Founder's Series 'The Evangelist' Limited Edition Bourbon (3rd Edition)

Bill Samuels Jr., son of the founders of Maker's Mark Distillery, studied engineering and law before joining the family bourbon business. While his parents established the brand and developed its distinctive style, his role focused on building its market presence.

In 1975, he became president of Maker’s Mark and held the position for more than three decades. During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding the brand from a small regional bourbon into an internationally recognized name. Often referred to as “The Evangelist,” Samuels is widely credited with promoting the distillery’s wheat-based bourbon and shaping its global reputation.

His legacy is recognized in the Maker’s Mark Founder's Series The Evangelist, part of a limited series honoring members of the Samuels family and their contributions to the distillery’s history.
