Macallan 'Double Cask Collection' Collection 12 Year Single Malt Scotch

The Macallan Double Cask 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured for at least 12 years in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. This dual-oak maturation balances the rich, spicy character of European oak with the sweeter vanilla and fruit notes contributed by American oak.

The whisky presents aromas of fudge, candied orange and lemon, vanilla, and soft spice. The palate shows milk chocolate, raisins, and creamy toffee, complemented by orange peel and gentle spice, leading to a medium finish with sweet oak.

Introduced in 2016, the Double Cask range highlights The Macallan’s use of sherry-seasoned oak casks and natural color, delivering a smooth, balanced, and layered single malt style.
