Macallan 'Art is the Flower' Single Malt Scotch

A tribute to the work of Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The release draws inspiration from Mackintosh’s 1902 stained-glass panel The Spirit of the Rose and reflects the connection between art, nature, and craftsmanship.

The whisky was matured in sherry-seasoned European oak casks, resulting in a deeply colored single malt shaped by long maturation. The profile shows notes of raisin, fig, cherry, polished oak, almond, orange, and treacle, with a palate featuring sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, apple, and subtle tea leaf, followed by a long, rich finish.

The expression forms part of The Macallan’s ongoing collaborations that highlight art and design influences on the distillery’s whisky-making tradition.
