Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask Finish Single Match Scotch

Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask Finish is the inaugural release in the Sinclair Series from Tobermory Distillery’s Ledaig brand. The series is named after John Sinclair, the entrepreneur who established the distillery on the Isle of Mull in 1798 on land known as Ledaig.

This expression is finished in Rioja wine casks, a choice inspired by local legends of a Spanish galleon that sank near Tobermory Harbour centuries ago. The cask finish complements Ledaig’s peated, oily spirit with additional layers of red fruit and sweetness derived from the Rioja casks.
