Lagavulin 2021 'The Distillers Edition' 16 Year Double Matured Single Malt Scotch

Lagavulin Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for 16 years in traditional oak casks before receiving a secondary maturation in casks that previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry. Pedro Ximénez sherry is produced from sun-dried grapes with concentrated sugars, resulting in a rich, sweet style of sherry. The additional cask finishing adds sweetness and complexity while complementing Lagavulin's signature smoky and peated character.
