Knockdhu Distillery, located in Knock, Banffshire, was founded in 1893 by John Morrison and began production in 1894. Built from local granite and equipped with two pot stills, the distillery historically produced whisky for blends such as Haig’s. After periods of closure during the Great Depression, World War II, and again in 1983, it was purchased by Inver House Distillers and reopened in 1989. This release is a limited 23-year-old cask strength expression.
