Kilchoman 'Single Bourbon Cask Release' Single Malt Scotch (New York Exclusive)

This Kilchoman Single Cask bottling for New York City was distilled on June 29, 2010, and bottled on May 16, 2016, after just under six years of maturation in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel. Peated to 50 ppm, it was released at a cask strength of 63.2% ABV, an unusually high level resulting from an error during filling when the distillate was not diluted to the standard 63.5%. The release was limited to the U.S. market in 750ml bottles.
