Ki One 'Batch 1: American Virgin Oak' Korean Single Malt Whisky

The Ki One Distillery in Namyangju, South Korea, has released its first full-sized single malt whisky. Fermented for at least 100 hours in stainless steel and twice distilled in Forsyths copper pot stills, it matured for 2 years and 2 months in new American oak barrels. Non-chill filtered, and with no added coloring, it offers aromas of oak, vanilla, passion fruit, and cinnamon, leading to a soft, spicy palate of peach, banana, and caramel. Batch 1 earned a gold medal at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
