Cream of Kentucky was first introduced in 1888 by I. Trager & Co. of Cincinnati and later acquired by the Schenley Company, which reintroduced it in 1934 after Prohibition. The brand rose to prominence in the 1930s and 1940s, becoming one of the leading bourbons of its time, with artwork by Norman Rockwell contributing to its recognition. The 2019 release is bottled at 102 proof with an age statement of 12.3 years.
