Jameson Gold Reserve is a premium Irish blended whiskey featuring a three-wood maturation approach. First released in 1996 as an airport-exclusive expression, it later expanded into wider distribution while remaining positioned as a premium offering within the Jameson range.

The blend combines pot still whiskeys aged between 8 and 20 years, matured in virgin American oak, ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry casks, together with a grain whiskey component matured primarily in ex-bourbon casks with some influence from virgin oak.
